Data Utilisation Plan (DUP)

Refers to a research plan, project plan or a similar plan that states the intended purpose of the data referred to in the permit application, the controller and processor of the data, the legal ground for the processing and the essential factors of the data security and data protection related to the processing throughout the lifecycle of the data, including the storage, erasure or archiving of the data (as per Section 3(17) of the Act on the Secondary Use of Health and Social Data, May 2019 – Finland).
