Real World Research

China: CDA – Real World Research (RWR) refers to the collection of patient-related data in a real-world environment (real-world data), and obtaining clinical evidence (real-world evidence) of the value and potential benefits or risks of the medical products through analysis. The primary research type is observational, but it can also be pragmatic clinical trials (Source – China: Key Considerations in Using Real-World Evidence to Support Drug Development (Draft for Public Review) – Center for Drug Evaluation, NMPA – May, 2019)
