Electronic Messaging Standard

An electronic messaging standarddefines an electronic format to exchange a set of data fields inan un-ambiguous and interoperable way between stakeholders. In simple words this represents a way to encode data elements (including sequencing and error handling) to enable the transmission of data from one database to another (as per Section 8.6 of HMA/EMA Joint Task Force on Big Data – Interim (Phase I) Report, February 2019).
